Thanks for your interest in Magic Thread Wrapper. The thread can be replaced by spools of thread from a normal haberdashery. There is also a thread colouring feature so you can apply fabric marker ink to customise your own threads before using them to wrap objects.

Could this be used with food colouring to decorate cakes?

Crayola Marker Airbrush takes Crayola Broadline Markers or Crayola Pipsqueak markers as its refills rather than loading ink directly, so there is no approved way to load it with food dye. Marker Airbrush is marketed as a toy/ Arts & Crafts product and has not been tested or qualified for use with food, so we do not recommend this use.

Do the 9.5cm figures go well with this Island? Or are they oversized for it?

The Brains's Lab area of the playset is scaled so you can play with the new Brains and Max twin figure pack in the 9.5cm scale; this product is launching in the New Year. You can similarly roleplay with the currently available figures in the same area. However the figures do not stand in scale with the vehicles in the hangar area - if we made everything to scale, either the figures would be tiny, or Tracy Island would be the size of a house!

Crayola Marker Maker

Tired of using other people’s markers? Then create your own with Crayola’s Marker Maker! This clever kit has enough components for making 16 colourful markers. It’s very easy to do and you can mix ‘n match your colours or keep thing as simple as you like. Use the mixing guide to help you decide what colour you’ll create. It’s only a guide though so feel free to make up your own! Once you’ve chosen which inks to use, mix them together and dip the marker reservoir into the measuring tube. Then watch as the marker core appears to magically fill with the ink. To complete the process, use the tweezers to remove the core from the tube and then assemble the marker with a cap, tip, and plug. Finally, attach your label for that personal touch! Is this washable ink

HI Liz,

The ink is the same as used in Crayola Washable Broadline Markers. There is advice re how to wash off marks on the packaging. Hope this helps.
