I know the cars are fully compatible with normal scalextric track but are the actual track pieces?
Yes, Scalextric sets are compatible with one another with the exception of the 'Micro' range which has different sized track pieces.

Putting kids as young as three in the driving seat, this giant sit-on four wheeled digger does exactly what it says in the title. It rotates 360 degrees and has a digger mechanism just like the real thing.
