I'm afraid the Hexbug Nano and Hexbug Nano V2 ranges are not compatible.

No, unfortunately these are only compatible with the Hexbug Nano V2 range.

There are two LR44 batteries included, however these may be display batteries from the manufacturer and not last very long.
