 Light Up Unicorn Scooter
Light Up Unicorn Scooter
Zip along on a magical ride with the Light Up Unicorn Scooter. You’ll have lots of fun on these two wheels, and you’ll look amazing too! Not only does the scooter have a cute unicorn design with pink wheels and purple handlebars, it also has light up wheels. When you’re scooting along, the wheels will flash and glow, then the lights switch off when you stop. The scooter has adjustable handlebars, making it suitable for lots of different sizes. We all seem to grow up so quickly, so this is a great feature. Another handy feature is that you can quickly fold your scooter up with the easy locking mechanism. Great for vibrant little ones aged 5 and up.

I’d like to give this scooter fewer stars but can’t because my 5yr old daughter loves it! Firstly, I’ll start out with the one positive- it looks nice. The wheels do light up but you have to be going quite fast to get them to light up. We bought a unicorn scooter head from joJo Maman Bebe to go in the middle of this scooter and it looks the part! We had one very excited little girl on her 5th Birthday with her “big girls” 2 wheel scooter.
Now for the negatives- the stickers were already beginning to peel off the first time I took the scooter out of the box. I had to super glue them down yet they are still lifting and peeling in places. She’s had it less than a month and the hinges and fixtures are already covered in rust. It has been outside but her previous scooters have lived outside for 2 years and not had this problem. Surely that should not happen after less than a month? My biggest issue is how sharp the base is on the corners. It’s a slim rectangular shape but the corners are very sharp. You wouldn’t want to be hit in the shin with this or you’ll end up with a nasty gash. And then if that wasn’t enough my daughter was riding it the other day and the front wheel completely fell off. My husband had to tighten it all up. This could have been dangerous if she’d have been going fast. I’d have rated this a lot less than 3 stars if it wasn’t £20 and my daughter didn’t love it so much.
In my opinion I’d avoid this scooter. Get a scootaheadz unicorn on any good quality pink/purple scooter and your little girls will love it just as much. This is cheap and corners have been cut on the finishing of it in my opinion.

Make mouths water with the Chocolate Lolly Maker . The Chocolate Lolly Maker doesn't just create yummy chocolate treats, it has everything you need to make them look gorgeous too. Melt your favourite chocolate into one of four moulds to make fantastic flower, heart, horse or rabbit shapes. You can then add secret messages to the back of each one and wrap them in shiny bags and ribbons to give to your favourite people. Or you could just gobble the lot, like we did. Either way, the Chocolate Lolly Maker will provide hours of fun and is a must-have for chocolate lovers aged six and up .

Little girl loved it

My nearly 4 yr old loved this for Christmas. We’ve made quite a few chocolate lollies we just buy white & milk chocolate buttons and they melt very easily in the pot provided that you just fill with warm water. Each melted pot of chocolate fills 2 of the moulds. It is a bit of a novelty to some degree as you can buy silicone chocolate moulds and sticks online cheaply and you’d get the same result. The melting pot is great for kids as you don’t need to bother with the hob or microwave. The big bits of plastic that come with it to ‘gift wrap’ the chocolate lolly is not really needed in my eyes but daughter thinks it’s great and it adds something else to the experience. So all in all- little ones won’t be dissapointed with this even if it is a bit of glorified plastic :-)
